Since its founding in 1930, SD43 has been enriched by the involvement of visionary leaders, dynamic teachers, motivated students, and passionate parents, grandparents, and friends of the school. Many people have asked for a way to recognize these outstanding supporters of our shared community.
Once we receive your Tribute gift, we will notify the recipient or the recipient’s family of your special honour with a “You Have Been Honoured” card and any personalized special message you would like included. All gifts will remain confidential, you will receive a tax receipt, and your gift will be honoured through donor recognition programs at the School unless you advise us that you wish to remain anonymous.
The SD43 Tribute Program has been designed to allow you to express thanks by making a gift to the School in honour of an individual or an occasion. You can recognize a loved one, a friend, a special teacher or mentor, or make an ‘In Memoriam’ tribute when someone passes on.
This easy and effective way of paying tribute to someone of special significance will support the learning environment of students at SD43 Education Foundation. Tribute gifts support the Annual Fund.

Monthly giving is a great way of maximizing the impact of your gift, while at the same time, minimizing your gift’s impact on your pocketbook. Spreading your donation out over equal monthly installments is a great way of making a real impact AND keeping it manageable.
You might choose to make monthly donations to the foundation for a prescribed period of time, or until you reach a specific amount, or, you might like to leave your gift open-ended. Monthly giving is easy! We’ll send you one receipt at the end of the year and we’ll make sure you know how your gift has impacted the School District and the students.
Marking a milestone. Whether your client is celebrating a corporate anniversary, a personal milestone (such as a significant birthday, graduation or birth) or marking the passing of a loved one, naming a fund at your community foundation can be a fitting way to remember a particular person or time in your life. Community foundations are the most trusted partners for this type of public and private giving and offer the most support as part of the donation process.
